Another Great Week!

Hey everyone!
Well this week was pretty good. Just some highlights
1. We had a baptism in our ward, Judith.

2. We did exchanges with Hermana Marisol this week. She went with Hermana La Serna and we had tons of success. So we will be doing many more exchanges with the members. Our ward is so great and willing to help.

3.  A miracle that I saw this week, we were in church on Sunday and I was a little bummed because none of our investigators came to church but right before the sacrament our golden investigator, her 2 sons and HER HUSBAND walked in. It was a miracle. We have never taught her husband and in fact he is the reason that the missionaries haven't passed by in the last 4 years and he came to church. Not only that but they stayed for all 3 hours and the husband actively participated in the class.

4. I was able to go with Adolfo when he got his endowments. It was so amazing to see a person that I have been teaching go to the temple. Because as a missionary that is our goal not only to see the converts in white for there baptisms but also in the temple. 

5. We had a special training and Elder Espinodola.

Week one of a new area and a DOG BIT ME!!

Well week one is done of white wash number 2. Here is a brief recap of my week
Wednesday. Arrived at the apartment with my new comps (I'm in a trio) and well we are living where elders lived so we did some cleaning. We found a saw in the apartment?? We walked a lot and then met our mission leader.

Thursday. We met an old investigator who is GOLDEN. Her son was baptized but she couldn't because she isn't married to her boyfriend. But the Elders couldn't come over any more because her boyfriend told her they weren't allowed. But she is so amazing, Her name is Marcia and her sons´ names are Javier and Maxi. I love them. Then we visited a recent convert\less active. She is super sweet and her husband has a baptismal date! So pray for Leandro and Susana.

Friday.We had a family home evening as a ward and Marcia and her sons came! It was about family history and they loved it. It was a lot of fun.

Saturday. We had a cita with Soledad and Marcelo. They were telling us about their past and it was really humbling. I am so blessed. I have a great family, a nice house, and over all a great life but most importantly I have the gospel. It is the gospel that brings us happiness.

Sunday. We had church. Our ward is Nuevo Amanacer in the stake Alicahue. We are a small ward. About 50. There is a lot of work to do but we are so excited. We found some new investigators and they gave us bread!

Monday. We had zone class. A dog kind of bit me... (don't worry mom, I'm fine) We visited a less active by chance. We actually were looking for an investigator and contacted a lady in a house and she told us to pass to her neighbor´s house. They were very excited to see us. We ate some watermelon with them.

Tuesday. Relaxed and I bought new shoes.

What I learned this week?

We have to have more than desires, we have to ACT on the desires we have. We need to be consecrated. That is my goal. To be less selfish and serve with all of my heart. I invite you all to do the same.

Here I come Nuevo Amanecer!

This lil girl put on her dads name tag and walked out the door with us. It was hilarious, but began to cry like crazy when her parents told her she couldn't go with us. hahaha it was sooo cute.

Hey everyone! Well I just began change number 8 and just completed 10 months in the mission! Time is passing tooo fast.  My motto is new year, new sector and new companions. Yes I am leaving Hermana Lopez and Violeta Cousiño. I truly enjoyed my 6 months there and all the people I met. I am now going to Nuevo Amanecer with Hermana La Serna and Hermana Pecheco. I am in a trio. So I leave tomorrow. But as for this week, if I had to say it in one sentence it would be: Week of miracles.

1. We went to the temple and did a tour with Coni and Pablo. The spirit was so strong and Coni wants to get married in the temple. It was sweet and although pablo says he doesn't believe in God, I know something inside of him changed.

2. We had so many AMAZING contacts. In the beginning of this change we were having a hard time but in the last 2 weeks we have filled 2 pages of contacts and found a bunch of new people to teach.

3. We went to the temple for pday and it was amazing. I just love the temple.

We went to the temple today! This temple is gorgeous.

I just want you all to know that I know that God exists, that he loves us and he is aware of us and had a plan for us. You are important to Him. If you look for him, you will find him because he isn't hiding. Open you eyes and see him.
